.::LARGE SCALE BLOGS::.

1. Fashion Toast: This blog, one of Kristin’s favorites, features Rumi Neely a beautiful fashion goddess, living in San Francisco, who got her start by simply photographing her everyday outfits and posting them to her page. She must be doing something right, because Rumi went from being an internet fashion star to the new face for Forever 21. Her outfits are beautiful, her hair is tossled perfectly, and the photos aren’t hard to look at either! Check it out y’all, happy dreaming!

2. What Do I Wear?: What’s so great about this blog is it uses photos submitted by real people (like us!) and tells you the brands of everything in the photo.  Although some of the pieces are expensive designer ones, it is encouraging because a lot of the stuff is from H&M, Forever 21, and other accessible stores. Take a look!

3. The Sartorialist: Most fashion lovers have heard of this blog, but if you haven’t, you are in for a treat! Documenting street style at its finest, photographer Scott Schuman travels to all the great cities of the world to see what everyone is wearing. Let the drooling commence. Fun Fact: Our very own, KK, was featured on the site a few years ago at the Union Square Farmer’s Market in Manhattan!

4. xojane: We find this particular article, “28 Authentically Good Shopping Tips to Take Your Wardrobe to the Next Level,” from xo Jane a great guide to finding the perfect wardrobe for your body.  Everyone needs some help in this department from time to time, right?  I know I’m loving all this advice!

5. Urban Outfitters: As you may or may not know, Urban Outfitters is coming to Knoxville this Spring! It will be situated in the historic Arnstein Building at the corner of Market Square. Thus, it only seems appropriate to include the blog of our soon-to-be neighbors. Plus, this is a great place for both guys and gals to explore the limits of fashion.

6. Because I’m Addicted: This blog, one of Brianna’s favorites, follows the fashionable musings of a “20-something” living in Los Angeles.  Beautiful photos and crazy amazing fashion, pages upon pages; think you can deal with that?

7. Man Repeller: Another one of Bri’s recommendations, this blog is so awesome! What is a man repeller, you may ask? As defined on the website, it is “outfitting oneself in a sartorially offensive mode that may result in repelling members of the opposite sex.  Such garments include but are not limited to harem pants, boyfriend jeans, overalls (see: human repelling), shoulder pads, full length jumpsuits, jewlery that resembles violent weaponry, and clogs.” Despite the connotation, there is some great fashion to be found on this site. Plus, everyone loves a good challenge, right?

8. The Selby: This is one of Paris’s favorites. The operator of this blog, Todd Selby, goes into artists’s personal spaces to photograph all the beautiful and lush decor, constantly paying attention to details with an artist’s eye. It may not be a fashion blog in the traditional sense, but Lord knows a lot of fashion sense goes into decorating a home with style and class.

9. Kinfolk Magazine:  This is one of KK’s favorites. Kinfolk is a blog of lyrics, recipes, ideas, stories, and practical day to day tips that are targeted towards “a growing readership of young artists and food enthusiasts that focus on simple ways to spend time together.”  Simply put, this blog is one of those good for the soul types.

.::LOCAL BLOGS::.

1. Monks & Mannequins: This blog is extra special to us because it is operated by Paris Woodhull, our visual display manager, and her awesome dad, Chris. According to Paris and Chris, their blog is “about beauty, the beauty in us, on us, around us, among us and all about us.” They offer a unique glance at current issues from the viewpoint of an 18 year old and her father, both fantastically brilliant in their own seperate way. Seriously, just take a look, it’s so good!

2. Brianna Lamberson, Holistic Health Coach and Personal Stylist: The next blog is by Reruns manager and all around superstar, Brianna Lamberson. She’s wonderful, delightful, blunt, honest, and dang good at what she does.  As a certified health coach, her site offers recipes, natural remedies, and everyday habits that keep your body working at its best. Here, you can also explore opportunities for closet clean-outs and personal styling tips. You don’t want to miss this!

3. Southern Belle Simple:   Another favorite local blog to frequent is Kate Spears’s site. Her project is a “celebration of all the things that are particularly southern as well as a few others. It is meant to be a daily dose of loveliness which leaves its readers feeling a little lighter, a little better.”  As Kate herself says, it’s a culmination of a lot of things but at its core, it is “utterly southern, elaborately simple.”

4. Found Objects Creative: This blog is from someone we hold near and dear to our hearts, Anna Montgomery.  Anna is one of our most loyal and faithful consignors and customers and always brings light, happiness, and laughter into the store when she is here.  Her blog is very new, but has lots of promising potential; so check it out and keep up with it, you won’t be disappointed.

5. Stuck Inside of Knoxville With the Urban Blues Again: Owned and operated by a man under the pen name of “Knoxville Urban Guy”, this is a great blog for Knoxville locals and for guests of our fine city. It keeps everyone up to date on all the latest happenings in downtown and surrounding areas and links you to other great Knoxville blogs and sites!  Check it out, you may learn something new about K-Town!

6. Modern Sentiment: Yet another of our consignors and customers, we present to you Sarah Martin’s blog.  She is a local mixed-media artist who also enjoys connecting with others through her writing and general socializing. Check it out for tips of all kinds!

7. Rala: Regional and Local Artisans:  We obviously love our sister store’s blog!  Here you will find examples of all the unique regional and local art and gifts we have for sale in the store. We love Rala, and we hope you do too!
